Vacations Reform 2023
We inform you that yesterday, December 27, the Decree reforming articles 76 and 78 of the Federal Labor Law regarding vacations was published in the Official Gazette of the Federation in the following sense:
1.- Workers who have more than one year of service will enjoy at least 12 vacation days, which will increase by 2 vacation days for each subsequent year until reaching 20 days. As of the sixth year, vacations will increase by 2 days for every 5 days of services.
2.- Vacations must be granted in periods of 12 continuous days and the worker will be the one who chooses when to take them.
3.- This Reform will enter into force on January 1, 2023.
We remain attentive to any questions and support to carry out the necessary adjustments to employment contracts.
